$20 per year for individual membership and $100 per year for associations

PRHO depends on your yearly financial support for us to maintain the level of service you have expected over the years. As a non-profit organization we continue to fight for your rights as a park resident home owner. Your yearly membership fees and donations continue to help support our efforts to help you, the New York park resident.

We are very aware of financial situations expecially those on fixed incomes. In support of that we are providing a pro-rated membership fee for those who join PRHO throughout the year:

Joining the Park Residents Homeowners Association

PRHO is the media for reporting on news events of interest to mobile / manufactured residents in the many communities across New York State. We work with homeowners by helping them form Associations protected by the New York State Real Property Law 233, by educating and setting up work shops, by informing them of their rights, and by distributing fliers across NY State.

By joining PRHO, subscribing to the newsletter, and getting involved, you can keep abreast of current legislation, legal and social issues. If you are interested in forming an Association or have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Starting an Association?

Develop your own mission statement. Start by sitting down with your board members and ask following the questions:

What is it we want to do and where do we want to be in 1 to 3 years.
What specific types of issues do we want to address
How will we know when we have succeeded

How PRHO gets it's funding

Currently, PRHO receives less than 15% of it's financial support through membership dues. The balance of our funding has come through the generous and gracious support of a few of the New York State Senators. Because of the New York State budget cuts, PRHO needs to make a concerted effort to become less dependent on state grants. This can only happen through YOUR support. Please consider becoming a PRHO member. Remember that PRHO is a 501(c) Not-For-Profit organization. We exist to serve you, the mobile / manufactured homeowners of New York State.
